Display Garden

We have a beautiful member-designed and maintained Display Garden at Elm Bank.  It is in full sun and is an excellent example of the kinds of plants that grow well in the sun, mostly azaleas and the small-leaved rhododendrons called lepidotes. Plants have been selected to bloom over a long period, from early April through midsummer, to have a lovely display of fall foliage color, and to have good winter interest.  There are small trees and companion plants and two benches chosen to complement the rhododendrons and azaleas in their curving beds.  The plant list for the garden is available, so the garden is a fine teaching site.
